SPIRITUALITY & HEALTH CONFERENCE

Spirituality and Health Conference in the works!

The Victoria Multifaith Society has an exciting project in the works–  a 2-day Spirituality and Health Conference!

We plan to engage with four aspects of health – physical, mental, community and environmental. Our mission statement is:

To bring to bear, on our most pressing challenges as a society and as individuals,
the life-affirming spiritual principles of the world’s faith traditions, in an effort
to seek solutions grounded in their deepest wisdom and core values.

One of our first steps is to determine the topics that are of greatest need and the greatest interest to people here in Victoria. To do that, we’re organizing four focus groups of about 8 to 10 people, i.e. one on each of these aspects of health.

Would you be willing to help by participating in a focus group to brainstorm potential topics and resources?    Your perspective is valuable!

The sessions should be fun and interesting in themselves, allowing networking with a variety of people in an informal and friendly atmosphere.

We will also look at spiritual principles that all religions have in common… and serve refreshments of course!

All are on Sunday afternoons in February, from 1:15pm – 4pm.
