We are inviting you to attend a three-day workshop: The Group as a Creative\u00a0<\/strong>Community<\/strong>. The workshop will be directed by internationally recognized Artist and Gestalt\u00a0Counselor, Gianni Capitani<\/strong>. This will be Gianni\u2019s second time in Canada and we are extremely fortunate to have the chance to be part of an event directed by him.<\/p>\n For many of us, the\u00a0rigours\u00a0and demands of daily life leave us feeling tired and rigid, our creativity ignored. Gianni has more than 20 years of experience helping people awaken this creativity within and find a new appreciation of life and love by guiding them to a spiritual connection through art and movement. This workshop is a unique opportunity to experience how we can:<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cAs a therapist and\u00a0counsellor, I highly recommend this course for anyone in the healing\/helping professions<\/strong>. In my own case, Gianni\u2019s workshop was pivotal to my growth into Gestalt and\u00a0counselling. Playfully creative, the workshop opened my eyes and heart in ways I had not expected,\u201d \u2013 Gabriela Garcia Yanez.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen I was a kid I always liked to draw and paint, but I had pretty much left that behind in my childhood. After my first workshop with Gianni, I reconnected with my creativity and was able to see it in a new way, as this reconnection awakened in me a spirituality that had also been dormant. The work with Gianni was both fun and transformative.\u201d \u2013 Tom Hunsberger<\/p>\n Gianni Capitani<\/strong> was born in Rome in 1949. He has fine arts degrees from the Liceo Artistico de Roma and the Accademia di Belle Arti, also in Rome. He received a diploma in Gestalt Counseling from the Gestalt Institute of Florence, Italy. In 1993, Gianni founded the Fenix Centre for the Development of Human Potential. He is a member of the Italian Counseling Association and has taught in the School of Art Therapy at the University of Rome as well as in other universities in Italy, Spain and Mexico. He has conducted workshops throughout Italy, Spain and Mexico.
